Safety-first, non-clinical companion support

MyFredy Home Visits

Friendly check-ins, errands and practical help for you or someone you care about.

A Fredy can stop by, spend meaningful time together, help with everyday routines, accompany the client on a walk or routine appointment, complete approved errands and provide an update to an authorized family member. Companionship comes first, with mobility, independence and immediate safety always in view.

Start with one Classic Visit or choose a package of 5, 10 or 30 visits. Longer visits are available for errands, appointments, outings and recurring weekly support.

A dependable check-in with a practical purpose

MyFredy Home Visits fill the gap that appears when a family member or friend would normally stop by, but distance, work, travel, caregiving responsibilities or everyday life makes that difficult. A Fredy provides a reliable local presence without requiring the client to need medical care or traditional home-health services.

Some visits are primarily about conversation and reassurance. Others include a walk, mail retrieval, trash-container assistance, an errand, a routine appointment, vendor access or a safety-focused review of the immediate living space.

Home Visits may also follow a procedure or temporary setback after the client no longer needs a longer aftercare block but would still benefit from periodic companionship, supplies, errands or recovery check-ins.

What a Fredy may help with

The booking form asks what would make the visit successful and recommends a visit length based on the selected activities.

  • Conversation, companionship and a general check-in
  • An authorized update to a family member or trusted contact
  • Indoor or outdoor walks based on the client’s established ability
  • Support following written mobility or physical-therapy instructions
  • Routine medical, therapy, dental or personal appointments
  • Grocery, pharmacy and household-supply errands
  • Mail retrieval, package delivery and simple paperwork organization
  • Moving trash or recycling containers to or from the curb
  • Meal or snack setup and bringing frequently used items within reach
  • Technology help, appointment confirmations and basic calls
  • Letting in a scheduled yard, maintenance, repair or delivery provider
  • Checking walking paths for visible trip hazards or access concerns
i
Companionship and safety—not household labor

MyFredy is not a cleaning, housekeeping, landscaping, handyman, moving, home-health, personal-care or medical service. Fredys do not perform professional cleaning, yardwork, repairs, heavy lifting, bathing, toileting, medication administration, physical therapy or skilled transfers. A Fredy may provide access and basic communication for a scheduled vendor but does not perform or guarantee the vendor’s work.

Safety stays at the forefront of every visit

A Fredy is not performing a medical assessment or professional home inspection. The goal is to notice practical concerns, make small light-duty adjustments when appropriate and report meaningful observations to the authorized contact.

Visible pathways

Notice clutter, cords, loose rugs, packages or small items that may interfere with frequently used walking paths.

Mobility and routine

Accompany an established walk, place a cane or walker within reach and report changes or concerns without providing therapy.

Home access and supplies

Notice obvious entry, lighting, temperature, communication or essential-supply concerns and help the family understand what may need attention.

Choose the visit length that fits the need

The shorter Classic Visit is designed for focused check-ins. Double and Extended Visits provide better value when the client already knows that errands, appointments or several hours of weekly support are needed.

More time together

Double Visit

150 minutes

Best for multiple errands, a routine appointment, a longer outing or a combination of companionship and practical tasks.

Longer recurring support

Extended Visit

225 minutes

Best for recurring weekly help, appointments with waiting time, transportation, vendor coordination or several planned activities.

Classic Visits may be combined

Use two Classic Visits for up to 150 minutes or three for up to 225 minutes. For repeated longer visits, a Double or Extended package provides better value.

Choose the scheduling style that fits real life

Most Home Visit customers either know the recurring pattern or know only the first date. The online form supports both without requiring every future detail at checkout.

Best for continuityStructured schedule

Choose a recurring day and general time, or enter several known dates. A predictable pattern gives MyFredy the best opportunity to retain the same Fredy throughout the series, although a specific Fredy cannot be guaranteed.

More open-endedFlexible future visits

Schedule the first visit now and leave the remaining dates open. Use them later as appointments, errands, family travel or changing needs become known. Future dates remain subject to availability.

Designed for the person receiving help and the person arranging it

Booked for someone you care about

Keep client information, payer details and authorized update recipients separate. The person arranging the service can manage future visits without requiring the client to handle scheduling.

Home Visit pricing and booking questions

What is the difference between a Classic, Double and Extended Visit?

A Classic Visit provides up to 75 minutes. A Double Visit provides up to 150 minutes. An Extended Visit provides up to 225 minutes.

Why is the Classic Visit 75 minutes?

Seventy-five minutes provides enough time to arrive, connect with the client, complete a meaningful check-in or focused task and document the visit without making a simple home check-in feel unnecessarily long.

Can Classic Visits be combined for a longer visit?

Yes. Two Classic Visits provide up to 150 minutes and three provide up to 225 minutes. For recurring longer visits, a Double or Extended package provides better value.

Do I have to schedule every package visit at checkout?

No. The first visit is required. Remaining dates may be entered as a recurring schedule or scheduled later through the secure management page.

Can I try one visit before purchasing a package?

Yes. The $149 Classic Visit is designed as a low-commitment first visit.

Are unused package visits refundable?

No. Home Visit packages are nonrefundable, including unused visits.

Can a Fredy accompany someone on a walk or follow physical-therapy instructions?

A Fredy may accompany a client on a walk and support an already established routine consistent with the client’s abilities and written instructions. Fredys do not provide physical therapy, prescribe exercises, lift or transfer the client, or provide hands-on clinical mobility assistance.

Can a Fredy retrieve mail, move trash containers or help with a scheduled vendor?

Yes, when the task is light duty and described in advance. Fredys do not perform yardwork, repairs or professional cleaning.

Is this a housekeeping or home-services company?

No. Companionship is the foundation of the service. MyFredy is not a substitute for a professional housekeeper, cleaner, handyman, landscaper, mover, home-health aide or personal-care provider.

Can a Fredy accompany the client to a routine medical appointment?

Yes. Routine appointments may be booked with enough visit time. Appointments involving anesthesia, sedation or a responsible-adult discharge requirement must use MyFredy’s Medical Procedure Companion service.

Will family receive an update after the visit?

When authorized by the client, a Fredy can provide a practical summary to the designated contact. It is not a medical or mental-health assessment.

How are transportation, purchases, parking and tolls handled?

Applicable transportation or distance charges are displayed during booking. Client purchases, parking and tolls are separate from the visit price.

How do I schedule or change future package visits?

After purchase, the payer receives a secure management link showing scheduled, completed and remaining visits.
